The Gerhardt Family: Two parents, biologists by training, happily married. Four offspring from early teen to young adult, always home educated. One daughter-in-law-to-be. Four dogs, five birds, five snakes, one gecko, 5 fish....(those are just the "indoors" critters). All living, learning and working together under one roof. Bevy of Beasts comes from a title of a book by one of our favorite authors, the late Gerald Durrell.
